About Tarume
Design eyewear manufacturer Tarume is built on the idea of unlimited vision of personal style, ability to see and technological capabilities. High-quality Additive Manufacturing (aka 3D printing) technology enables a variety of digitally personalised products for every face and eyes. We think that 3D printing is like painting on a blank canvas.
Made one-by-one
Designed & crafted in Finland
Tarume products are designed and manufactured in Finland. Our eyewear is assemblied by hand at our atelier in Turku, and inspected by human eye by every detail.
Less material loss
Ecological technology
Material-additive 3D technology and made-to-order production decrease Tarume's carbon footprint. We don't need to hold large stock. We avoid unnecessary use of plastic, which is why we don't use plexiglass or plastic wrapping. Our eyewear cases are made out of recycled plastic.
Comfort and flexibility
Material
Our material is tough, durable and very lightweighted polyamide nylon, which makes our products wonderfully comfortable to wear.
A Mark of Finnish Quality
The Key Flag (Avainlippu) symbol is a mark of Finnish origin and quality. It tells customers that the product is made in Finland, supports local employment, and reflects Finnish expertise, responsibility, and trust.
